As you probably know, we often help get websites up and running for our small museum clients.

It is clear that a service to set up and maintain simple websites would be helpful, so we have decided to offer a fixed cost, no frills option for all small and medium sized museums – even if you are not a client of ours already.

For an all in price of $500 per annum, we will arrange your domain name, host the website, design a basic website based on iWeb or similar templates, arrange domain specific e-mails for you, and do a monthly update of you website.

All you have to do is provide the content, pictures etc and we will do the rest.

As part of my current contract, I have been working on a new strategic focus and business plan for the Kaikohe and District Historical and Mechanical Trust and the first part of the new strategy was launched last night with the rebranding of the Kaikohe Pioneer Village site as HERITAGE KAIKOHE.

The Trust now has a new focus, which gives it the mandate to cover local history from ‘first contact’ to the current day.

Just getting started on a short term contract at the Kaikohe Pioneer Village as Interim Director.

This role will allow me to develop strategic and business plans for the Village, whilst undertaking ‘hands-on’ museum management.
